Site Statistics

Use of the website has increased steadily since it was started in 1998. The tables below show data on the use of the site since data collection was begun in August  1998.  The site has had more than 4,193,295 page requests since mid-1998. Data breaking down the use of the English and Chinese sites has been collected since March 2000.  Since August, 2001  we have been able to combine the data from the mirrored web server in China with the data from the server in Canada.

The above chart shows total yearly page requests since 1998. Data for 2005 is to September of the year. Note that the 1998 data does not cover a complete year. Total yearly page requests to the end of December 2004 was 1,233,794 compared to 893,019 for 2003.
